thank you for creating this part. I noticed that when i bring it into eagle the pads are 100% rounded.
Can you tell me if this was intentional? I normally see the SMT pads as rectangular and wanted to ensure that this wasn't caused by the conversion/import process.
I notice that the package picture on the SnapEDA website shows the pads as square.

You are correct that the original file has rounded pads; this is not a conversion issue to EAGLE. The new parts we make on SnapEDA all have rectangular pads and are based on IPC calculations. There are many benefits to rounded pad shapes in terms of solderability, so we will work towards supporting toggling between different pads shapes in the future. For now, we use rectangular since not all design tools support rounded pads. As for why this one has rounded pads, it looks as though it was a deviation from the standards we use, most likely, created before we had component creation standards in place. The reason it shows as square on the website is because the footprint renderer does not have the intelligence to render the rounded version yet.
I will ask our component engineers to look into this further.
