If I search for a part to request from InstaPart and the part is not found I can't then continue ordering and supply links to the datasheet. It seems counter intuitive that you don't allow parts that are not in your database as it would be a great way to expand the known library.
Is there a way to work around this limiation?

Hi Steve,
Great question!
The workaround is a form which can be found here: https://www.cognitoforms.com/SnapEDA/PartRequestForm
We then add the part to our database but it generally won't have the datasheet readily available at that point.
The idea of allowing contributions for datasheets is a great one and has been noted.
In terms of payment, we would just manually help you complete the payment in this case and/or deduct from your credits. (Sorry I know it's a bit annoying. It's on our roadmap to streamline this)
