Pin 1 is not indicated in either the datasheet or the 3D model. It appears that the connector does not have a defined pin 1 designation, so the footprint was created with pin 1 placed at the top-right position based on the most common pin 1 placement for connectors.
However, we have already reached out to the manufacturer to seek clarification. We will keep you updated once we hear back from them.

I am Amina, stepping in for Karthik. Thank you for your patience while we waited for confirmation from the manufacturer regarding the pad sequence for the 215570 4 connector.

Pin 1 is located at the top left corner on the PC-BOARD HOLE LAYOUT figure in the datasheet. The pad sequence is as follows.

Row A Front is 1, 2, 3, 4
Row B Rear is 5, 6, 7, 8

For reference, I will also share the manufacturer screenshots with you via email.

We have updated the 2D model on our site to reflect the correct pad sequence. Please feel free to download and use the updated model in your design.

We will review the remaining parts in this series and update them as needed.
