Do the two lugs shown in the 3D model correlate with the footprint?

0

I think the foot print provided has holed oblong pads while the 3D model has kind of 2 lugs (as seen in the model). I do not have the ACTUAL PHYSICAL PART & hence relying only on the 3D model. Can one confirm if the 2 pads will suffice for the lug to get into the board. (I checked the mill layer also: It does not show anything ; I am using Eagle)

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching us. We have reviewed the available content of USB-AM-S-S-B-TH, and we have found it to be correct. The idea behind these pads is that the shield pins have to be pressed into the PCB to be soldered in place. These cuts are present at the Mechanical Layer 1.

Kindly let us know if you have any other questions, we'd be happy to help!
