Hello Mlibbymu
I’m Amina, stepping in for Ron. Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your request.
You can convert EAGLE libraries to KiCad directly using the built in importer.
In KiCad:
Open Symbol Editor for symbols or Footprint Editor for footprints
Go to File → Import → EAGLE Library (.lbr)
Select your .lbr file from Autodesk EAGLE
Save as a new KiCad library (.kicad_sym or .pretty)
Add it to your project or global libraries
Symbols and footprints import separately, and device links are not preserved, so you may need to reassign footprints. Design rules, layers, and 3D models may not fully transfer. Always verify pads, pins, and alignment against the datasheet.
You can also upload your EAGLE .lbr files to SnapMagic Platform and convert them to KiCad format, then import the generated libraries into KiCad.
