Hi! The results in the keyword search are automatically filtered based on the presence of symbol and footprint. If you're not finding what you're looking for, we probably don't have it. Can you let me know which part you're looking for and I can try to help?

Hmm, that didn't answer my question. If I search for part by number, but I only want to see those parts that have a symbol and footprint available for download, how do I do that?

The way our search algorithm works is that we prioritize any relevant results with symbols & footprints to the first two pages of your query. So if we had any relevant results for your query, they'd be within the first two pages of the results. After the first two pages, we prioritize based on query relevance.

To give you an example, search for "usb connector". You can see that the first two pages have results with symbols & footprints. For exact part number queries, we do the same thing where we prioritize based on availability of models. So the results with models would automatically filter to the top. Hope that helps explain a bit better.

Okay, that explains it well, thanks. So if the first results page of the search doesn't contains parts with both a symbol and footprint, then the remaining pages wont either. Got it.

That's correct. I'll ask our product team to make this a bit more clear in our search results to avoid confusion in the future. Thanks for asking about this.

Hello everyone,
We would just like you to know that you can now apply search filters by Data Availability(Has Symbol, Has Footprint, Has 3D Model, and Has Simulation)! You can simply tick the boxes you would want to filter. Here is an example search:
https://www.snapeda.com/search/?q=BG96&SEARCH=Search&has_symbol=1&has_footprint=1&has_3d=1&sort=&resistance=&tolerance=&manufacturer=&package=&search-type=parts
Kindly let us know your feedback about this new feature. We're going to add more search filters soon!
