how to import footprint in orcad layout plus?

I am facing the same issue. I am using orCAD Capture / PCB editor. I have no idea how to place the footprint of particular diode and Inductor in my layout.

Please share steps. Thanks n adv!

Did you try following the steps outline in the import guide for OrCAD/Allegro? The manual way to import a footprint is outlined in the guide. I'm personally not sure if the import process for OrCAD capture and Allegro differ, but running the script to create the padstacks and then running the script to create the footprint works in Allegro.
