Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried following our guide on how you can get the P-CAD importer installed in your Altium here: http://blog.snapeda.com/2019/03/20/how-to-install-the-p-cad-importer-in-altium-designer/

You should follow the instructions for versions 14+. After installing the importer and you still encounter an error, please let us know immediately so we can help you solve it.

Hi Faust, Thank you for your response. I followed the instructions given in the provided link.
But still getting the error.

Cannot find package in directory
"D:\Altium\System\Installation\Altium Cache". Please make sure installation files are available and retry to continue.

Do you want to retry?

Hi again.

Does this happen during import? May i know what step in our import guide are you in when you encounter this error? Can you please send us a screenshot at [email protected]?

Can you please try following our old method of importing here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM6L8SiklaQ

Thank you again for your response. After click on "Apply" and it starts the installation process meanwhile this error occurs. I've emailed you screenshots as well.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Talha,

I just received the screenshots. It seems that you are not signed-in to Altium and that maybe explains why you were not able to install the PCAD importer. Can you please sign-in using your Altium account and try repeating the process again on installing the PCAD importer. It should work after that.

Please let me know how it goes.
