When the KiCAD V6 plugin will be available?

I have installed and tried the App and it is a big help for downloading. However there is one facility which I would appreciate which is to be able to select the location of the download library.
Currently defaults to C:\Users\<Your Username>\SnapEDA Kicad Plugin\KiCad Library. E.g. I use OneDrive for custom libraries.

In light of the apparent lack of support for KiCAD V6 by the SnapEDA plugin, lack of Linux support for the Desktop App and nothing from UltraLibrarian as far as automated integrations, I forked an old github repo that claimed to be able to automate the import of SnapEDA and UltraLibrarian Zip files. After a few days of rework, it seems to be working fairly well.

With this post I want to probe the community on:

1.) Is anyone willing to help me make this better? (Current enhancements in github issues) if you are a FreeCAD or KiCAD python API wizard.
2.) Was I completely wrong, and such a tool already exists somewhere I simply haven’t found yet?

Unfortunately, we don't have an estimated release date for the SnapEDA plugin for KiCad v6. However, if you are using windows, the latest version of the SnapEDA Desktop App now supports Kicad v6, you can download it here:
