Low profile and thin quad flat packages (QFP) are classified by Maximum Seated height according to JEDEC definition: Low type (>1.20 mm and <=1.70 mm) and thin type (>1.00mm and <=1.20 mm) but the pitch and package size can vary within each. They are ideal for the applications in lightweight and portable electronic products.
