Pin 8 should be output power not a ground?
Hello,
Looking at the datasheet, it looks like pin 8 should be output power, but here it is assigned as ground. This is a serious inconsistency. Could you please confirm what pin 8's function should be?

Thanks for reporting this part! The issue you encountered was due to an old automation script that produced an outdated library for this part. We also forwarded this to our engineers and will keep you posted once we make some updates.
