The Mentor PADS download does not produce correct files?

Bigger bit of work, but worth mentioning, I did notice several Samtec TSW-106 parts to have the same issue for Mentor PADS. This was one of a number that I had tried and I found many to have the same issue. Just one to be aware of :)

Thanks a lot! You are right and we were able to reproduce the issue, it looks like sometimes it is downloading .EDF and .OLB files which are from OrCad but we have informed our software team about this issue. They will be working on it! In the meantime, if you are getting a .asc file, you can import it using PADS Layout! You just have to click on File -> Import and just select the .asc file.
