When this model was created in 2023, the manufacturer document we referenced did not show the data pins connected, so the footprint was built accordingly based on the pin assignment table on page 6:

Since then, we have confirmed an updated datasheet that includes the data pins and we have updated the model to match this document:

Please download the updated model from the part page again and use it in your design.

Thank you but I think there is still a problem.
I do not believe the origin (centroid) is computed correctly, leading to incorrect positioning for placement on a PCB.

Previously, the origin was placed on the lower slots. We have now updated it to the center of the body outline to make placement easier and more consistent.

I do not believe that the part's origin is correct.
The fabrication company I am using, jlcpcb, expects the origin to be at the *centroid* of the *copper*, not at the center of the component outline.
It was necessary for me to move the origin by about 1.352mm.
I submitted my design yesterday and my modified location was correct, at least for jlcpcb. I suspect that other fabricators will want the origin in the same place.
I want to note that I had the same problem with parts 52271-0679 and 54104-4031, although I am not sure that I downloaded these from SnapEDA, so you may want to check these.

In our libraries, the default origin is typically set at the component body center, since manufacturer datasheets and IPC guidance generally reference footprints from a stable mechanical datum. This keeps the symbol, footprint and 3D model aligned and consistent even when copper features such as thermal pads or via arrays change, and it supports reuse across different EDA tools and assembly workflows.
In practice, most assembly houses can work with a body centered origin, either by referencing the mechanical center or by calculating centroids from the footprint data. That said, some processes may require a copper centroid. In those cases, your adjustment is appropriate for accurate placement, and we are glad to hear your submitted design was successful with the modified origin.
