Why am I getting orcad symbols when I select Altium?

This isn't only happening with this part but this is the part that I need the footprint in Altium for right now.

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching us. We were unable to replicate this issue in our side, as we get an .intlib file for this download.

Could you attempt to clear your cache and cookies, then log back into the site and try again?

Please let us know the results so we can further investigate on this.

Hi, unfortunately I'm back with the same issue. Clearing my cache and cookies sometimes resolves this issue for a download or two, but it always returns. This happens on my personal SnapEDA account (j_thieme) and on our company account (pcblib_modalai) and it even occurs when attempting to download files on pcs that we have never used to download from snap EDA before. This issue is becoming extremely aggravating. I am happy to look for whatever cached files or cookies on my pc (or pcs) that may help you diagnose and hopefully eliminate this issue. We primarily use google chrome, but I'm about to try downloading with Microsoft Edge. I'll let you know if that makes any difference.

In the meantime, can you please double check if the Direct download - Preferred format button is off (gray) at https://www.snapeda.com/account/email/? If so, this may be why you're getting the Altium format as a default.

Kindly let us know if this works on your side.
