Kicad plugin does not work on Linux mint 20.

I am using Kicad5.1.5 in Linux mint 20. I followed the instructions as below. I extracted the downloaded file and copied the folder to .kicad_plugins.
In the folder is :
imagemagick
__pycache__
snapeda_plugin.py

The snapeda plugin is not showing in Pcbnew. So what might be the issue?

Im am not the only person who has this issue, and it might affect those who are running the latest ubuntu.
